Before departure

See the trip like a dispatcher.

Raily combines schedule, live position, delay state, and route context so your train is more than a row on a departure board.

During the ride

Know the moment your arrival moves.

Delays, platform changes, and cancellations from the operator's live feed become clear alerts you can act on.

Connections

Stop guessing on tight transfers.

Connection risk weighs your buffer against the latest arrival estimate and warns you when the safer plan is worth checking.

Which trains does Raily support?

Raily focuses on high-speed and long-distance services across 9 networks: Amtrak including Acela (US), VIA Rail (Canada), UK National Rail, Deutsche Bahn including ICE (Germany), SNCF including TGV (France), SBB (Switzerland), Vy (Norway), NS (Netherlands), and SJ (Sweden). Coverage keeps expanding as reliable rail data feeds become available.

I'm not receiving notifications. What should I do?

Make sure notifications are enabled for Raily in Settings > Notifications > Raily, that the trip you want alerts for is being tracked in the app, and that you have an internet connection. Background delay alerts require tracking to be turned on for the trip.

Why is live position or delay data missing for my train?

Live data depends on the rail operator's public feed. When an operator's real-time feed is temporarily unavailable, Raily falls back to the scheduled timetable, so some trips may show schedule-only information until live data returns.

What is included in Raily Pro?

Raily Pro adds connection predictions with backup trains, advanced notifications (platform-change, connection-risk, back-on-time, and arrival alerts plus a custom delay threshold), travel analytics, family sharing, and the AI travel assistant (Ask Raily and the AI Arrival Guide). Pro is $3.99/month or $29.99/year. It is an auto-renewing subscription; you can manage or cancel it anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions on your device.

How do I cancel my subscription or get a refund?

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. Manage or cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I delete my data?

Trips and history are stored on your device, so deleting the app removes them. You can also sign out or clear data within the app. See the Privacy Policy below for details.

Does Raily track my location?

No. The map shows the train's position from the rail data feed, not your GPS. Raily contains no analytics SDKs or ads and does not track you.

Privacy first

Private by design, useful by choice.

Raily is built for travel confidence without ad tracking or unnecessary identity collection.

Information We Collect

Raily ("the App") does not collect personally identifying information such as your name or email on our servers. To deliver background notifications such as delay, platform-change and arrival alerts, the App sends the limited data below to the Raily backend. This data is used solely to provide app functionality, is not linked to your identity, and is never used for tracking or advertising.

  • Device identifier (APNs device token): sent and stored as the destination for push notifications.
  • Tracked-train information (train ID, train number, route): for trips you choose to track, sent and stored to monitor status and send alerts.
  • Trips and travel history: stored only on your device and never transmitted.
  • Sign in with Apple: if you sign in, your name and email are stored only in the device Keychain and are not sent to our servers.
  • Analytics and tracking: the App contains no analytics SDKs or ads and does not track you.

Train Data

To show schedules and live delays, the App sends search queries such as train numbers to the Raily backend or public rail-data providers. These requests contain no personally identifying information.

Data Deletion

On-device data can be deleted at any time by deleting the App, or by signing out or clearing data within the App.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
